Main Areas of Responsibility:
Lead all aspects of the development program. This is a lead staff position for creating and implementing a dynamic plan for institutional advancement to broaden the donor base and increase financial support, pursuant to an annual Development Plan which sets goals and tactics for developing new funding sources, contacts and relationships and for nurturing and growing existing Foundation and Museum relationships.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
•Lead staff for major gifts program, which includes annual giving and philanthropic memberships, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship
•Coordinate all donor engagement through database management, donor moves management, donor research, scheduling/preparation for donor calls and donor stewardship.
•Extensive knowledge of fundraising principles, techniques and ethics, with an understanding of capital campaign, membership, annual giving and planned giving strategies
