Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Development Director leads the effort to secure philanthropic funds by coordinating all fundraising activities and collaborating with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) on donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The primary duties are development and oversight of AHCH’s philanthropic program, planning and quality implementation of fund development plans, cultivation, and maintenance of donor portfolios, and leading the in-house development team. The Development Director reports to the Chief Strategy Officer in alignment with external affairs.

Other Information/Requirements: 

- Experience in report preparation and ability to disseminate information to broad and/or segmented audiences
- Experience directly supervising fund development and communications teams
- 3 years of experience with a comprehensive philanthropy program with an emphasis on major gift fundraising
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Public Relations, Communications, English, Business, or other relevant field

Salary Range: 
$64,000 - $68,000 annually
