Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Coordinate the planning, conceptualization, implementation and evaluation of The Food Depot’s fundraising efforts.
• Identify prospective donors including individuals, corporations and foundations.
• Conduct donor research, qualification and cultivation, and coordinate other fundraising efforts (donor relations, corporate sponsorships, fundraising special events and planned giving) to help sustain The Food Depot’s annual operating needs and accomplish its long-term fundraising goals.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Create an annual communications and outreach plan as part of the annual operating plan.
• Support organizational communications and information activities including producing newsletters, annual report, brochures, press releases and informational materials, and website development and maintenance.
• Support development of strategic and annual operating plans, particularly those components related to fundraising, communications and organizational development.
