Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Development Director at Stray Hearts Animal Shelter in Taos. Responsible for grants donors, special events, PR,online system of donor and foundation accountability. Willing to relocate.

Excels working with individuals and teams of board of directors, staff, volunteers, donors and foundations, government or others. Demonstrates a high degree of integrity in all aspects of performance and interactions with all stakeholders and be able to deftly manage difficult and confidential situations.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Education:
College, Graduate School, Management or Animal Welfare certification, or 3 – 5 years equivalent experience.

Compensation: Stray Hearts offers a full and competitive salary based on experience, size of organization and peer organizations. Starting range: $60,000 – 70,000 plus negotiated relocation and benefits package.
