Development Coordinator - Annual Giving

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Development Coordinator performs a wide variety of project management tasks in support of the Annual team of Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation. The desired candidate will provide excellent service to and meaningful communications with our donors, volunteers and PHS staff. This position collaborates with the fundraising and marketing team, and program staff on fundraising priorities, donor acquisition identification opportunities, and donor stewardship strategies.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Assists in the design, planning, production/follow-up for the Special Events programs
Solicits key event support including auction donations and corporate flower presale participation
Recruits/manages event volunteers
Manages the third-party phoning campaign
Facilitates the auction process: item photography, website posting, mobile bidding platform maintenance and preparation for setup.
Provides general support to all administrative functions within the development team

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum of three years of administrative support experience; non-profit setting preferred
Familiarity with fundraising, communications, volunteer/internship work in a fundraising office may be substituted for formal work experience
Experience with MS Office, especially MS Excel, MS Word, and mail-merge functionality
Knowledge of donor management systems, Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge strongly preferred
Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
