Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for all coordination efforts and management of our Volunteers and third-party Events. Supports the Development Department with communication efforts, hosted events, projects, and programs that support the objectives of the Paws and Stripes Development efforts. A great opportunity for a self-starter who is passionate about our mission and can excite and inspire others.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Volunteer Coordination, Event, Development, and Communication Support
• Coordination and supervision of all volunteer responsibilities: recruitment, screening, placement, projects, training, recognition, schedules, and communication
• Manages all third-party event requests, follow-up, preparation, and oversight
• Assists Administration and Development with public relations, marketing, development outreach, and fundraising efforts
• Creates and distributes email campaigns

Other Information/Requirements: 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Associates degree or equivalent work experience required serving in a similar position
• Demonstrated strong work ethic, professionalism, and the ability to motivate and inspire others
• Personal qualities that include a high level of integrity, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse group of individuals
