Development Coordinator

Job Description

Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

We are currently searching for a Development Coordinator for our New Mexico Branch in Albuquerque. You will partner with the Branch Director to organize, coordinate, implement and expand all programs and development activity.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Manage market finances and donor management systems
• Lead Outreach Program activities for the market
• Build and strengthen relationships with potential and existing volunteers and donors to consistently increase revenue
• Understand the Foundation, Regional and Branch activities, operations, policies, and procedures to perform all duties and achieve goals and objectives.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; at least 2-3 years fundraising experience required.
• Understanding of development, fundraising, & events.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
• Team player who can develop, maintain, & utilize relationships.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task, prioritize, & work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to travel locally required. Occasional overnight travel as needed.
• Occasional evening & weekend work required as needed.
