Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Want to work for a great organization changing the lives of children with disabilities? Abrazos Family Support Services is seeking a full-time Development and Communications Manager to help us take our agency to the next level through fundraising and outreach.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This role is responsible for overseeing the design, development, management and execution of communications, media relations, marketing and fundraising events for a nonprofit organization providing community-based services to families whose young or adult children have developmental delays or disabilities.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This new staff position will work closely with the management team and Board of Directors to assist the agency in stewarding donors and reaching out to the public through multiple modalities, including social media, electronic newsletters, marketing materials, etc. Knowledge of and experience with relationship building, donor stewardship and resource development strategies, including annual and planned giving, social networking and other online/web-based fundraising approaches required.

How to Apply: 

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or higher, excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and writing skills, as well as basic business and administrative skills. Grant-writing skills and knowledge about services for individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
