Development Administrative Assistant

Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Work with the Development Director on managing a monthly donor program and other fundraising events throughout the year.
Enter donations into Donor Perfect and send out thankyou letters to donors.
Help with designing monthly and annual newsletters
Manage the volunteer program including soliciting volunteers.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Work closely with social media head to establish plans for marketing events and programs.
Coordinate meetings and teleconferences, prepare and distribute meeting materials, take meeting minutes, maintain Board and Committee lists and maintain files.
Assist with the preparation of donor appeals, grant proposals and submissions and report materials

Other Information/Requirements: 

2-3 years' experience working in fundraising or project organization
Some graphic design knowledge preferred
Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and sponsors
Ability to work flexible schedule outside of typical hours, as needed
Strong computer skills a must
