Curatorial Research Associate

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under the direction of the Director of Curatorial Affairs, the Curatorial Research Associate will survey and organize existing documentation and legacy records from the Georgia O'Keeffe Catalogue Raisonne and conduct research to identify missing information and update records to reflect recent scholarship and changes in ownership history. The Research Associate will be responsible for preparing this information for upload into a digital collection management system (CMS).

Other Information/Requirements: 

• BA in art history or related field with specialization in American Art, Art of the 20th Century and Modernism, MA preferred
• Minimum of 2 years' museum object research experience, including the provenance, exhibition, publication, and market history of artworks
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and meeting deadlines
• Preferred experience with collection management systems, especially Vernon
