Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Generation Justice Cultivating Leaders Program ​will promote education, health equity, and racial justice to forge pathways towards economic stability for youth and families in New Mexico. Through training from local and national collaborators, practicum participants will provide leadership development training to other youth.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The GJ Practicum Program ​provides aspiring young adults of color, who are recently graduated or currently finishing college, with training in: Race equity ● Leadership development ● Civic engagement ● Media literacy ● Narrative shift ● Academic achievement ● Early childhood development ● Health equity ● Economic security/career development

Other Information/Requirements: 

The practicum term is 30 hours each week starting in September 2019 - December 2020. Application Requirements​ include: ● Completed Application Form and Resume ● A two-page cover letter ​specifically addressing the practicum description ● Two letters of recommendation​. ● A short writing sample​ ● Any examples of any media work​.
