Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Crisis Response Advocates are responsible for providing crisis intervention, advocacy, and resources on the hotline and in-person for survivors of sexual violence. Other duties include maintaining but not limited to: grant reporting, data entry, data collection, outreach, and documenting each service provided in accordance with agency standards. Must be flexible working hours outside of their shift as needed.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Bachelor degree required (Social Sciences or related field)
• A minimum of one year direct service experience
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be willing to work with other agencies and participate in outreach activities
• Ability to adhere to strict standards of confidentiality

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must obtain Criminal Records Background clearance
• Access to own vehicle and telephone
• Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Must complete the RCCCNM 40-hour Advocate Training
