Main Areas of Responsibility: 

We are looking for a credit analyst to join our underwriting team at our Albuquerque, Tucson, or Phoenix locations. DreamSpring prides itself on coming up with unique solutions to challenging loans requests and thinking outside the box to support our clients while maintaining a strong culture of repayment. We make loans that make sense outside of the traditional accepted profile to meet the needs of entrepreneurs in our community.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

-You'll review and complete underwriting and credit analysis on our high-impact microloans.
-You'll Assist loan officers with comments or questions about applications and the likelihood of approval;
-You'll review financial statements, collateral, credit reports, and applicable ratios to evaluate risk and provide recommendations; and
-You'll support DreamSpring's culture of client obsession by providing excellent customer service.

Other Information/Requirements: 

-Credit Analysts must have a passion for DreamSpring's mission and a strong commitment to DreamSpring's culture of exceptional customer service, excellence and accountability;
-Strong analytical skills and clear writing and communication skills;
-A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration;
-One to three years relevant experience in alternative lending underwriting, credit analysis, small business bookkeeping, accounting or other relevant fields.
