Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Council Director is responsible for managing the Girls on the Run programs and volunteers. Reporting to the GOTR Rio Grande Board of Directors, key responsibilities include developing and implementing the overall strategy and vision for the program and all organizational and operational aspects of its administration, financial operations, revenue generation, program development and activities, personnel management and strategic planning in conjunction with the Board.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Key responsibilities include: Program Outreach & Site Management, Organizational Administration, Coach Management and Training, Curriculum/Equipment Management, Budget & Administration, Revenue Generation.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Ideal candidates will possess outstanding communication skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize, comfort in engaging in strategic activities with the board as well as taking on a hands on role with regard to program execution and administrative issues. Experience in a non-profit environment, especially with a youth wellness program is preferred. This position is very self directed with a variable number of hours required per week.
