COPE Finance Director

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Finance Director serves as a central pivot of the COPE Finance team and is responsible for all related activities including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and grant compliance. The Finance Director also oversees financial reporting and communications with partner organizations such as Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) and Partners In Health (PIH).

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Working with the Administrative Director and the PIH Boston team, the Finance Director is responsible for implementing COPE’s financial policies and procedures to ensure proper controls are in place and all funding is accounted for according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and reported to COPE stakeholders accurately. Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications:
MBA required; CPA preferred
5+ years’ experience as Finance Director, Accounting Manager, or equivalent;
Knowledge of accounting software programs;
Significant experience in or knowledge of nonprofit accounting;
Experience leading strong and diverse teams;
Ability to live in Gallup, NM full-time;
