Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

We are reopening as a community center serving the Martineztown and Santa Barbara Neighborhoods. Duties include (1) coordinating on-site service programs such as tutoring, support groups, etc. (2) coordinating volunteers and work groups in providing community services, (3) supervising office staff and coordinating schedules for space use and office coverage, (4) liaison and collaboration with partner service agencies, (5) Spanish/English translation and interpretation

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Helping the Board to identify unmet community needs, and assisting the Board in preparation of funding proposals. Need excellent skills in organization and record keeping, and strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Afternoon/evening hours. Spanish/English fluency. High school or GED plus 2 years of directly related community experience (bachelor's degree preferred). Skills in use of personal computers and software applications. Ability to work proactively and independenty with moderate supervision. Starting salary is $13.75 per hour at .75 FTE. MHNS provides health insurance, mileage reimbursement for work travel, and annual leave.
