Coordinated Assessment Data Specialist

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position will play a central role in the state-wide Coordinated Assessment System. This position works directly with the Coordinated Assessment Director and will enter, manage, update and review data in the HMIS (Homelessness Management Information System) database. This position is based primarily out of the ABQ office but will require travel to membership agencies and occasional travel to the NMCEH Santa Fe office.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Will enter and review HMIS data for accuracy and completeness and update data as needed, participate in monthly trainings and meetings, coordinate with staff from various agencies that utilize the Coordinated Assessment System, assist with placing clients into appropriate housing, receive and file associated paperwork, provide data tracking, program monitoring, and program reports, maintain confidentiality of all privileged information, and perform other duties as required and assigned.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications: 2 yrs admin. & data entry experience, HS Diploma, proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office, expertise in Excel, experience in database reporting and data entry, flexible, self-directed, highly motivated, reliable and collaborative, strong organization and communication skills, reliable transportation, valid and current driver’s licenses and proof of insurance, must be interested in working behind the scenes on the goal of ending homelessness in New Mexico.

Full Time: 40 hrs, M-F 8 to 5
Salary Range: $30k to $35k annually with generous health insurance, vacation, and retirement
