Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The United Way of Central New Mexico (UWCNM) is seeking an experienced Controller to join our finance team. UWCNM is a local non-profit organization serving Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance and Valencia Counties. We are a dynamic fundraising and community impact organization. The successful candidate is a results-oriented individual with proven non-profit accounting experience and knowledge of general ledger accounting, donor management and CRM systems.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Controller will work closely with the CFO and our finance team members as well as volunteer leadership to record and report our financial results in a transparent and timely manner. S/he will be able to prepare complex account reconciliations, monthly financial statements and the information required for our external audit. Responsible for budget preparation, pledge receivables and purchasing.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least five years’ experience in non-profit accounting in a team environment. CPA preferred.
