Executive Director (Contract)

Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

We are searching for a contractor to work 10 - 15 hours per week handling all administrative and operational aspects of a 501(c)(3) charter school foundation. Bookkeeping/accounting experience is key.
1. Assist the Treasurer with planning and annual budget
2. Ensuring compliance with Board policies
3. Serving as the primary spokesperson
4. Plan and oversee fundraising events
5. Report to and work closely with the Board of Directors

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

6. Supervise, collaborate with organization staff and volunteers.
7. Assist the Board with strategic planning and implementation.
8. Oversee organization of Board and committee meetings.
9. Work with the President and Vice-President to oversee marketing and other communications efforts.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Transparent and high integrity leadership
• Nonprofit management experience
• Solid, hands-on, budget management skills, including budget preparation, analysis
• Strong organizational abilities including planning, delegating, etc.
