Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under the direct supervision of the Community Services Director, the Community Support Advocate is responsible for outreach activities that result in enrollment for HELPNM’s workforce development programs. They will conduct weekly outreach activities by attending events, creating events and conducting orientation workshops. This position will be responsible for working closely with the team to assure goals are met and all partners are aware of the programming and eligibility requirements.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Associate degree from an accredited two-year junior college in Family Studies and two (2) years of progressive experience in all aspects of either employment and/or training programs, social services and/or with the low income population. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
