Community Programs Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Recruits & trains partners for food bank participation
• Initiates development activities in support of programs and initiatives
• Gathers information and issues reports involving food distribution
• Performs customer service and problem solving with RRFB partners
• Acts as a conduit between RRFB partners and other organizations to provide additional services related to hunger
• Collaborates with other public and private organizations to find ways to collectively combat hunger

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Manages monitoring activities including site visits to ensure partners and facilities meet food bank criteria
• Administers and Implements Roadrunner Food Bank policies and programs
• Provides information about partners for food bank newsletter, website, and funding applications
• Coordinates with Operations Department regarding programs scheduling delivery and product availability
• Speaks to groups and organizations to promote the food bank and its activities

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree plus 1 to 2 years’ experience in program or project management; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 1 year experience providing training
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information
• Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively orally present information and respond to questions
• Ability to problem solve
• Excellent computer skills
• Extensive travel throughout the state is required
