Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Progressive Organizing Solutions is hiring Community Organizers to mobilize Latino communities on critical environmental issues facing New Mexico and the nation as part of a campaign it is conducting on behalf of Conservation Voters New Mexico Education Fund (CVNMEF).

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Community Organizers should have experience recruiting, mobilizing, and training Latino volunteers to get involved in issues that are important to the community. Successful candidates should have at least one year of community, issue, labor, or political organizing, excellent communication and outreach skills and must work well in a team.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The position requires a willingness to work evening and Saturday hours. Preference will be given to applicants who are bilingual, bicultural and have New Mexico experience or ties. Community organizers will report to the campaign’s Lead Organizer and Program Director. Organizer positions will be based in Albuquerque.
