Community Fund Grants Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Primarily responsible for facilitating, coordinating, managing, and providing development, operations, and oversight of an effective system of community planning, resource development and investment, project evaluation, and partner/community relations. He/she is the key liaison to the volunteer Community Impact Council and will develop and maintain relationships with area human service organizations and individuals for identifying needs for health and human services initiatives.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

-Manage all activities related to the development of UWCNM’s annual Community Fund investment plan in support of comprehensive funding of UWCNM issue areas.
-Guide program assessment through development and use of evaluation tools to determine level of achievement in meeting community solutions’ goals.
-Recruit, train and evaluate initiative volunteers to support the community impact planning, solution development and initiative implementation.

Other Information/Requirements: 

•Minimum of a Bachelors degree in an area such as business or social service and 3-5 yrs experience in a relevant field
•Demonstrated ability to research issues, develop solutions, and implement and evaluate strategies.
•Demonstrated ability to conduct grant management activities.
•Demonstrated expertise in program evaluation and outcome measurement.
•Strong knowledge of grants management software (e.g. VITA, Cybergrant, e-CImpact, etc.) and Microsoft Office 2010
