Main Areas of Responsibility:
Narrative Strategy & Leadership: Define the overall communications strategy, ensuring all
messaging reflects our core values. Lead the Comms team to test, adapt, and scale what works.
Media & Narrative Monitoring: Track local and national media to identify emerging stories, frames, and misinformation.
Message Development & Testing: Turn policy briefs and research findings into clear, compelling
messages, testing them to see what resonates with different audiences.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Policy Tracking, Creatives, and Distribution
teams — handing off tested messages and outlines for multimedia content, and ensuring it gets
to the right audiences through email, social media, radio, or events.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Communications Manager and Distribution Manager
and any junior designers or contractors. Set goals, review work, and foster a culture of
innovation, equity, and collaboration.
