Communications Director

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Communications Director to oversee all aspects of the organization’s external communications to support and grow CVNM and CVNM Education Fund’s program reach. The Communications Director will plan and implement strategies that help to raise the profile of our organization’s work in the media, build strong relationships with press, and energize our base of volunteers and supporters.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Communications Director must be committed to our mission and values of authentic community
and stakeholder engagement in policy work, and equitable opportunities that promote race equity, diversity, and inclusion. The right candidate for this role will have demonstrated success in working with the media, executing media strategies, & strong written and spoken communication skills.
