Main Areas of Responsibility: 

New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty is seeking a full-time Communications Associate to develop and implement strategic communications campaigns that advance economic justice and key policy issues facing New Mexico’s communities. This person will be a storyteller who engages our communities and creates inspiring and persuasive visual and written content for change.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Required: Exceptional writing and speaking skills; collaborative and flexible mindset with a passion for influencing public policy and advancing economic justice. Preferred: Spanish, Indigenous, or other language fluency; graphic design, photo and/or video creation background; experience with policy and legislative campaigns; familiarity with New Mexico and living in or working with low-income communities.
