Clinical Therapist

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Provides group and individual therapy to adults, adolescents, children and families and crisis intervention.
Educates survivors to recognize abusive characteristics and to develop coping skills and adaptive strategies to maintain a life free of violence. Conducts assessments, evaluations and service treatment planning.
Prepares timely and accurate written progress notes and reports.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Conducts assessments, evaluations and service treatment planning. Prepares timely and accurate written progress notes and reports. Participates in Clinical Staffing and provides input regarding client’s, children’s and families needs and treatment goals.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Master’s Degree and New Mexico licensure (LMHC, LPC, LPCC, LISW, LMFT or LMSW)
3+ years group and individual counseling with adults, adolescents and children.
At least one year experience with domestic violence survivors.
Experience utilizing set curriculum and making revisions or developing new curriculum as needed or appropriate
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
