Main Areas of Responsibility:
Assists in providing case management for applicants and clients Provides crisis intervention services for veterans and loved ones in the community Formulating treatment goals that address identified needs, stressors, and problems.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Assists in assessment/linkage and referral of individuals in crisis to an outside provider (VA, in-patient, etc.)Working with community resources such as Veteran Service Organizations and other community groups to assure that they are aware of how to recognize veterans at risk for suicide and their options for getting these veterans assistance. Professional knowledge of the principles and theoretical concepts of social work.
