Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Accion is an award-winning nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the tools entrepreneurs need to operate, grow or start their businesses. We increase access to business credit, make loans and provide training to help entrepreneurs realize their dreams and to help businesses thrive. We are looking for a full-time Client Ambassador to provide outstanding customer service and client satisfaction, acting as the first point of contact for new and existing clients.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Provide a fantastic first impression of Accion by going the extra mile for each client;
• Serve as a knowledgeable and helpful go-to resource for current and prospective clients;
• Answer incoming client service requests by phone and email, taking loan applications, answering questions, and directing to the appropriate team member for follow up;
• Enthusiastically uphold Accion’s organizational values of passion, pioneering spirit, integrity, excellence and accountability.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Must have a passion for increasing economic opportunity and access to capital
• Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience in accounting, banking or lending in a customer service role preferred
• Must be comfortable interacting with clients over the phone and by email
• Superb interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver outstanding customer service and results
• Able to embrace rapid change
• English/Spanish fluency preferred
