Client Advocate

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Client advocate needed for homeless shelter. Must have BA/BS in human service related field. Will work as an advocate with people from all walks of life in a large homeless day shelter. This position will provide assistance to clients and serve as the liaison between shelter and our behavioral health department. Successful applicant will assist with obtaining IDs, completing housing vulnerability indexes to assist with finding housing solutions for homeless clients.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Ability to work in crowded shelter.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must have BA/BS in human service related field. Associates may be substituted with appropriate experience. Significant experience may be substituted for degree if currently enrolled in college.
Must have at least 1 year experience working with homeless or SMI population
