Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide professional counseling to children who are survivors or witnesses of violence, and clients of Community Against Violence. Provide professional services in both group and individual forms.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide primary client assessment and development of client treatment plan. Maintain client files and prepare reports in accordance with State, Federal, and grant requirements. Provide necessary agency referrals, advocacy and follow-up for counseling clients.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Licensure in New Mexico, with a Bachelor or Master's Degree under staff supervision and training required by the NM Counseling and Therapy Practice Act or the New Mexico Board of Social Work Examiners Practice Act. Candidate will go through CYFD background clearance, TB and drug test before hire.
