Child Care Provider

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Insure the children experience the highest levels of nurturing and loving care in all areas of their lives and to promote and support the vision and mission statements of ERDLN.

• Observes strengths and needs of the children.
• Recognizes behavior and/or development of children deviating from the expected norms.
• House cleaning
• Cooking/Meal Preparation
• Laundry
• Properly supervise and guide the children, while providing healthy boundaries

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Pass medications as prescribed and log in Medication Administration Record
• Assist in transportation needs of children using agency vehicles
• Participate and Involve volunteers in activities with children
• Provides information regarding child's visitations and appointments
• Help with low cost/free activities for the children.
• Supervise animal care of indoor as well as larger animals.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Demonstrable experience in cooking and child care
• Must pass a background check regarding driving history and possess a valid New Mexico Driver's License
• This position is subject by law to finger printing and must pass a rigorous criminal/character background investigation
