Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Chief Mission Delivery Officer reports to the CEO and leads approximately seven full-time staff located in four service centers across southern New Mexico and West Texas. This individual is responsible for areas of membership, volunteer services, programs and recruitment.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

1. Membership growth to all areas of the Council with emphasis on the El Paso and Las Cruces markets.
2. Increased program offerings focused on outdoor programs and camping and STEM programs.
3. Direct and coach the work of the newly formed mission delivery team to increase innovation, productivity and collaboration among team members.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Candidates for the position are expected to have a minimum of five to ten years of progressively responsible management experience in operations. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in managing youth-serving programs. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, with advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
