Chief Medical Officer

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of all Primary Care Services. This position is responsible for direct delivery of medical services, supervise and support all primary care clinical staff in areas of care management, and the fulfillment of administrative services.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Chief Medical Officer will work closely with Behavioral Health Services Director, appropriate staff and administration to identify, develop and implement the comprehensive clinical services and preventative services and preventative services, including the coordination of credentialing and privileging of all clinical staff. Work on initiatives of patient centered medical home model, develop and maintain relationships with community providers and other external stakeholders.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Education
Graduate as a Medical Doctor from accredited college of medicine.

Other Requirements
Board Certified in Primary Care Specialty (i.e., Internal Medicine or Family Medicine)
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of New Mexico

Required Experience
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a primary care setting or community health center
