Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The CFO will develop and lead the financial strategy for the entire organization, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, negotiations and annual audits; will oversee the finance department and collaborate closely with the executive management team and Board of Directors to create projections and reports; and manage capital investments and ensure the financial stability of a growing nonprofit organization with an annual budget of approximately $2.5 million.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The CFO is also responsible for financial strategy; accounting; and operations and administration.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This position requires a B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or comparable graduate degree; at least 7 years’ experience as a CFO, Director of Finance or equivalent with strong understanding of accounting, including the management of nonprofit audits, sophisticated fund & grant accounting, & compliance & reporting; experience partnering with executive management staff to develop & implement creative financial management strategies; and experience managing finance & accounting software packages.
