Main Areas of Responsibility:
•Performs and/or oversees strategic, broad-impact financial analysis and reporting
•Conducts financial management analysis of complex, interrelated processes such as budgetary, financial, procurement, and fixed asset management functions
•Establishes and monitors system for measuring progress toward the annual operating and capital budgets
•Gathers and analyzes information to make financial recommendations regarding special projects
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
•Monitors and evaluates accounts receivable, pledges receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
•Monitors inventory processes and tracking to ensure consistency with financial accounting records and funding streams
•Monitors board-designated reserves and makes recommendations for use or designation
•Regularly evaluates cash position and makes recommendations for managing and improving cash flow on both a short and long-term basis
