Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Chief Financial/Administrative Officer. Full-time/salaried, strategic thought-partner for Executive Director. Hands-on and participative manager to lead internal team to support finance, business planning/ budgeting, human resources, administration, IT. Direct supervision of Bookkeeper, Grounds Manager, and Museum Store staff. Plays critical role in strategic decision making and operations to enhance its quality fundraising programs and support the Albuquerque Museum.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Financial Management:
Oversee financial/project/program/grants accounting, Museum Store management, annual budget
Manage annual audit process/cash flow/forecasting, Supervise bookkeeper
HR/Technology/Administration:
Manage professional development, comp/ benefits, performance evaluation, training/recruiting
Oversee administration
Facilities Management:
Oversee facilities/grounds/physical assets, building/ground upkeep, repair/maintenance
Manage long term asset use strategic planning

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum of a B.A., prefer MBA/CPA, related degree
5 years professional, broad financial/operations management experience
Not for profit accounting/audit experience
HR management
Ability to translate financial concepts for non financial people
Tech savvy with experience selecting and overseeing software installations and managing relationships with software vendors
Accounting/reporting software knowledge
