Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Development Officer will be responsible for managing BGCCNM’s development operations; be responsible to carry out the clubs’ major initiatives with a primary focus on the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individual, foundation, corporate prospects and donors.
This position is critical to the sustainability and growth of the organization as our work is not possible without our key partners.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Plan the annual budget and implement resource development strategies to meet and exceed budget goals.
Work with Marketing and Development Coordinator to create public relations and marketing materials for the public and the media.
Direct efforts to design a program to identify, cultivate and solicit gifts from major individual, corporate and foundation prospects along with the CEO with a planned giving strategy.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This position requires a minimum of 5-7 years of resource and business development experience in areas of donor relations, major gift solicitations, grant writing, capital and major gift campaigns.
