Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

In collaboration with the President/CEO and Board of Directors, the Chief Development Officer will design and implement a comprehensive development strategy to increase the financial resources available to support the mission of Roadrunner Food Bank.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for the effective management and growth of Roadrunner’s fundraising and donor relations efforts. Plans and directs fundraising programs such as donor management and grant management; supervises events, marketing and communications, advocacy, volunteer engagement, systems, and strategic donor tracking functions. Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have outstanding communications skills including: the ability to read and analyze, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations; the ability to write correspondence, grant proposals, and manuals; the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
• Must be able to travel throughout the state when needed
