Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Maintains short- and long-term development plan, including measurable benchmarks. Manages and implements and/or ensures the implementation of all of APNM’s development functions, including donations, major gifts, planned gifts, special events, foundation research and proposals, donor acknowledgement and stewardship, donor prospecting, board fundraising, capacity building, donor solicitations and development-related collateral material.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Excellent assessment, planning, troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal, persuasive, communication skills (verbal, written, presentation). Motivated, flexible, organized. Experienced with a variety of common software; Mac computer literate. Familiarity with New Mexico preferred. Expect to travel within state using personal vehicle. College degree required with minimum 5 years experience in nonprofit development. Position based in Santa Fe office.
