Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position splits time between the NMGCC and the Partnership for Responsible Business. The CEO/ED leads in bringing the voice of responsible business to important policy discussions in the public arena, advocating for member interests, and in directing programs that build value for chapter businesses.
a. Fundraising— The CEO/ED is responsible for raising funds for both organizations.
b. Project Management—The ED is responsible for implementation of grants.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

c. Manager- The CEO/ED oversees 10 full and part-time staff.
d. Spokesperson—the CEO/ED serves as a public spokesperson.
e. Policy Development—The CEO/ED works with consultants to manage and develop an annual policy platform.
f. Lobbying—The NMGCC CEO will lobby on behalf of NMGCC member’s policy priorities.
g. Events—The CEO/ED helps lead statewide events.
h. Board Interaction- TheCEO/ED works to enable the Board of Directors to develop strategic plans, oversee finances and programming.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Activities are not limited to the work outlined above and may include other tasks as priorities shift. The CEO/ED may delegate specific tasks or activities to an interested volunteer, or, as funding is available, to other NMGCC staff or subcontractors. The CEO/ED is responsible for coordination of these volunteer leaders and/or subcontractors, and ultimately responsible for making sure their assignments are fulfilled.
