Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Regional Coordinator will identify and work closely with partner community-based organizations and groups who are trusted messengers among the eligible uninsured persons. The Regional Coordinator will provide coordinated and cohesive approaches to reach the priority clients for the program.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

As a member of the Health Action New Mexico Team, a statewide, health advocacy non-profit organization, will recruit, oversee and support the success of four Bilingual Outreach and Enrollment Assisters and volunteer assisters to plan, carry out and conduct educational, enrollment and follow-up activities that include informing and enrolling persons who have not been previously eligible to enroll in healthcare insurance.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The Regional Coordinator will identify and work closely with partner community-based organizations and groups who are trusted messengers among the eligible uninsured persons, and will provide coordinated and cohesive approaches to reach the priority clients for the program.
This person will provide input to the Executive Team for development of bilingual outreach and enrollment materials. All program materials will need to be reviewed by the OSI before wide scale production.
