Main Areas of Responsibility: 

We are seeking a director with both teaching & administrative background, successful experience in grant writing and developing strong community partnerships. Provides direct supervision to professional staff involved with adult basic education programs; responsible for the overall direction, coordination, contract compliance as well as reporting and evaluation.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This position reports to the Chief Program Officer. It requires a BA degree in a relevant field; Master’s in administration or leadership preferred; a minimum of 3 yrs. supervisory experience; minimum of 2 yrs. experience in federal grant management and preparing budgets; minimum of 2 yrs. direct experience in a non-profit agency including budget management,

Other Information/Requirements: 

Development and implementation; advance competency in Microsoft Office and database experience; proficiency in Google Suites, docs, and classroom; strong command of the English language and excellent writing skills; and bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
