Main Areas of Responsibility:
Case Manager, Level I reporting to the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program. Work with homeless and low-income Veterans to help house or maintain housing. Duties will entail completing paperwork, finding resources for the Veterans and working to help identify income improvement opportunities.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Coordinate on-site visits and inspections of potential housing placements; Provide recommendations to counseling or courses to help clients to learn acceptable behaviors and methods of functioning; Assist with the daily operation of the VIC program, assuring appointments are made/kept and all record keeping for communication and documentation is accurately maintained; Work with outside community to obtain appropriate housing and services
