Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Case Manager coordinates a portion of the New Mexico Donated Dental Services (DDS) program, providing case management for people who are disabled, elderly or medically-at-risk and cannot afford or access comprehensive dental treatment for severe dental problems.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Processes DDS applications to determine eligibility and works with patients, volunteer dentists and dental laboratories, monitoring progress during treatment. Maintains computerized files of patient's case notes and authorizes lab fee reimbursements. Communicates effectively with patients, dentists and NMDAF staff to assure program goals are met.
