Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

As a Casa Q intern you will learn about advocating for LGBTQ youth. You will learn how to provide case management services for Casa Q youth residents and increase outcomes and social service delivery. You will assist with client referrals, intake process and service plans.

• You have a compelling interest in Casa Q’s mission, social justice and LGBTQ advocacy.
• You demonstrate personal integrity, flexibility and responsibility in your work.
• You seek to be a part of a fast-paced, growing, multi faceted and tight knit organization.
• You are currently pursuing, or have completed, post-secondary or graduate level education, with a track record of academic excellence.
• You are able to make a commitment of 10-20 hours per week.

Other Information/Requirements: 

A CYFD background check and fingerprinting is required, first aid/CPR and three references. Social science, BSW and first year MSW students are encourage to apply. Casa Q is approved to work with New Mexico Highlands University, will work with students pursuing online programs and students seeking other university internship credit.
