Main Areas of Responsibility:
Casa De Salud’s Board of Directors is responsible for establishing policies and directives governing business and programs of the and shall delegate to the Executive Director and Corporation/Organization staff, subject to the provisions of these Bylaws, authority and responsibility to see that the policies and directives are appropriately followed. All board positions are voluntary, and board members will not be compensated for other than for reasonable expenses approved by the board.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Know the organization’s mission, policies, programs, and needs.
• Faithfully read and understand the organization’s financial statements and board materials in advance of meetings.
• Respect the experiences of all who bring their voices and lived experiences on to the board and into the boardroom and the organization.
