Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Career Pathways Internship (CPI) Manager oversees Explora’s internship programs for students.
Ty are responsible for supervising and mentoring ~40 interns. They ensure interns fulfill program goals and develop life skills. They train interns to facilitate high-quality visitor experiences and maintain exhibit activities and environments. The CPI Manager is responsible for the recruitment and evaluation of CPIs and developing relationships with community partners to advance the program.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Support teens’ mental health and SEL and connect them with support services from community partners.
Participate in the local youth development network
Works to track and report CPI program metrics; sets and manages budgets; provides income/expense reports; contributes to the writing of grant proposals.
Maintains a current and valid driver’s license to perform work duties.
Works weekends and late hours, as business needs dictate.

Other Information/Requirements: 

● A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and professional experience in youth development.
● Management experience is a plus. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be
substituted, as long as it directly relates to the essential duties and responsibilities.
● Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Excel, Word, and database management systems.
● Expressed interest in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) and education.
