Career Fair Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Organize and structure two career information and job fairs to reach a total of approximately 300 young adults.
• Identify and recruit local non-profits/agencies/businesses to educate and recruit youth in natural resource and environmental careers.
• Recruit youth attendees for career fairs.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Exhibit proficiency in advertising and connecting with the media.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide community and educational outreach in various locations within the Albuquerque area.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This is a part-time (8 to 12 hours per week) position. The position focuses on the development and implementation of environmental career and job fairs for young people along with establishing and coordinating a network of educational partners. Due to funding requirements, there is an age restraint for this position. The applicant must be 18 to 25 years old. The position starts in Fall 2014 and runs through Spring 2015.
