Campaign Coordinator, full-time

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

•Develop and manage all media justice campaigns and support media justice programs
•Build MLP’s base of cross-sector organizations and individuals working for social justice
•Formalize organizational partners
•Supervise Media Justice Organizer
•Supervise volunteers
•Develop leadership of staff, volunteers, and constituents

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

•Provide presentations and trainings
•Assemble presentations which include conducting popular education research, media research, and selecting media examples
•Assist with development of educational materials, tools, and resources
•Provide media interviews as needed
•Participate in grassroots fundraising

Other Information/Requirements: 

•Knowledge of how to run, implement, and evaluate effective community organizing campaigns
•Knowledge of social justice organizations in Albuquerque and in New Mexico at large
•Knowledge and understanding of racial and social justice frameworks
•Ability to lead and coordinate projects
•Ability to connect with a large range of constituents
•Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
•Strong public speaking and facilitation skills
